Nagpur : Agrovision Agricultural Exhibition, conceptualized by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari with the intention of educating the farmers of Vidarbha about the new technology in the agricultural sector and using it to increase their income and make their agriculture profitable, is starting from 25th November at PDKV, Ground Dabha, Nagpur. The preparations for the National Agricultural
Exhibition workshops for farmers, and conferences are now in the final stage. Seven thousand eight hundred square meters of exhibition dome, four and a half thousand square meters of open hangar for large equipment has been constructed and three halls of 325 square meters are established for workshops, i.e. a total of 13,000 square meters area has been occupied for the exhibition that would welcome farmers, farming experts, agriculture lovers and all visitors. Two counters have been set up for the registration of farmers. The Agrovision National Agricultural Exhibition starting on 25th November 2022, will have three conferences along with a wide range of workshops on various topics. Farmers will get the opportunity to get inspiration from the guidance of experts from across the country and the success stories of successful farmers. Workshops have been organized on many topics useful for farmers. Some of these workshops will be of longer duration. Use of Drones in Agriculture, Floriculture, Vegetable Seed Production, Turmeric and Ginger Cultivation and Processing, Bamboo Cultivation, Medicinal Plant Technology, Appropriate Use of Agrochemicals, Vertical Farming, Mechanization for Small Farming, Sericulture, Beekeeping, Organic farming, Use of technology to double the yield of orange and Sweet limes farming along with a number of topics such as agrotourism opportunities in Vidarbha, mushroom production, poultry farming in Vidarbha, production opportunities and challenges would be covered during the workshops. Around 425 stalls from five domes will be on display in the agricultural exhibition. Apart from this, Agrovision will include stalls giving information about seeds, fertilizers, agricultural equipment, and modern agricultural instruments along with this Nabard and other banks and agricultural government departments would cater to the queries of farmers. This year UPL, AS Agri, Patanjali, PI Industries, Mahyco ITC, Reliance, Mahindra, Ankur Seeds, Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., Rasi Seeds. V. H. Group, Parijat Industries, Crystal Crop Protection, Dhanuka, Meda, and Kubota have confirmed their participation in the exhibition.
Conferences have been organized on topics ?dairy development of Vidarbha to promote the dairy industry of Vidarbha?,? development of fisheries in Vidarbha?, as well as ?income opportunities from bamboo production?. It was informed at press conference of the largest agricultural exhibition that, Conferences have been organized at two locations NBSSLUP Hall and PDKV Ground, Dabha, Nagpur. Agrovision's convenor Girish Gandhi, organizing secretary Ramesh Mankar, Ravi Boratkar along with the chairman of Agrovision's advisory committee Dr. C. D. Mayee, Sudhir Dive, Mr.Anandrao Raut, Mr. Prashant Kukde, Mr. Shirish Bhagat, Mr. Shridhar Thakre, , Dr.Sunil Sahatpure, Dr. K.D. Thakur, Mr. Samay Bansod, Mr. Prashant Wasade, Mr. Pinak Dande, Mr. Moreshwar Wankhede, Mr. Anandbabu Kadam, Mr. Ram Munje Agriculture college Dr. R.N. Katkar, Dr. Elorkar, Dr. V. Khawle, Dr.Hitendra Singh and Members of Agro Vision Foundation were prominently present at a press conference. The inaugural ceremony of Agrovision Agricultural Exhibition will start on 25tth November 2022 at 10.30 am. The inauguration ceremony will be presided over by the Chief Promoter of Agrovision and Union Minister Hon?ble Shri. Nitin Gadkari while Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Hon. Shri Shivraj Singh Chauhan will be present as the Chief Guest. Agriculture Minister of Maharashtra Hon?ble. Shri. Abdul Sattar, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra Hon?ble. Shri. Devendra Fadnavis, State President of BJP, Hon?ble. Shri. Chandrasekhar Bawankule would be present and Minister of Agriculture of Madhya Pradesh Shri. Kamal Patel will be present at the concluding ceremony on 28th November 2022. The organizers have appealed that farmers, producers, consumers, agriculture students, and agriculture lovers should definitely visit this exhibition and take maximum advantage of the workshops and conferences.
